Food Testing Testimonials

  • I have been suffering with headaches for over 20years and have tried everything to try and rid this often debilitating problem.  I took the food test as I felt that there was something that was setting it off.  To my absolute surprise - Onions - were one of the items listed in RED that were identified as NO GOOD for me.  There were several other items which I eliminated but it turns out onions were the main problem. The importance of finding out what foods are no good for you?

Dennis Hodges ND is the mastermind behind this unique approach to finding out what foods are stimulating various symptoms that people are suffering today.

A lot of people today claim they suffer from many different reactions to foods and household products.
Some seem to cause pain and discomfort while others seem to aggravate existing symptoms.

It is said that our foods today are so altered by soil degradation, fertiliser, irradiation, genetic modification, and importation that many people are turning to organic and gluten-free foods in an attempt to reduce the ‘reactive effects’ they are experiencing. This may work for some, but not for others — simply because whether it’s organic or not, certain foods are just not compatible with the metabolisms of certain individuals. We call these ‘bio-incompatible’ foods/products.
There are also many eating plans (like the blood type diet), which are very good for a lot of people, but do nothing for others. This is because they do not factor ‘Bio-Compatibility’ into the equation.
It all boils down to finding the answer to that single, simple question: “Is this particular type of food (in it’s present form) any good for my unique body?”

What makes this approach different?

Bio-Compatibility testing is all about finding the foods and products that work best with your patient’s unique body from a Naturopathic or electrical perspective. The purpose of the programme is to feed the patient’s body with the correct nutrition it needs to repair and maintain good health. And to eliminate those bio-incompatible foods/products that may lead to health problems.

We find foods that you CAN eat!

Most traditional diets and eating plans are aimed at suppressing the symptoms or solely on avoiding the foods that commonly give rise to adverse symptoms.
The Bio-Compatibility System approaches the problem at a much deeper level — working on the foods/products affecting a SPECIFIC patient (these are very often different for different individuals).
The programme is NOT merely about avoiding foods/products that cause a reaction, but about only INCLUDING in the diet those foods that ARE compatible. Our aim is to provide your patient with a unique list of biocompatible foods that are RIGHT for him/her and restore the body’s ability to repair itself.

What will be tested?

It is very important that patients are checked for Bio-Compatibility against as many local foods and household products as possible. In our standard Bio-Compatibility test, we analyse over 450 common LOCAL foods and household products. We also have speciality lists to test for Bio-Compatibility in babies and pets.
The results highlight those bio-incompatible items, which should be removed from the patient’s lifestyle, AND offer a list of Bio-Compatible foods and household products. These compatible foods and products are then used (as a stand-alone programme or in conjunction with other therapies) to build a healthy lifestyle for that particular individual.
Note: Some foods and products are very reactive (either in their primary or secondary form) and best not eaten/used at all so we have purposely not included them in our list.

A closer look at the origins and actions of ‘reactions’:

Reactions may be an inflammatory response to a particular stimulus. The inflammation occurs as a result of the immune system attempting to defend the body against the stimulus. Symptoms may not be obvious for up to four days, but as the immune response increases, symptoms may present and get worse.
Exposure to bio-incompatible substances (either through food or household products) may affect the immune system.
Poor health needs to be addressed with the right client care protocol. It starts with getting a complete picture of your patient’s Bio-Compatibility with the foods and products in his/her everyday life, and then working out those foods/products to avoid and those to eat/use.
